Final Exam Question
How do you describe your artistic style/perspective? How do you define success as an artist? What do you find most rewarding about being an artist? What are some of the most important skills you draw upon to create your work? What are some of the most significant things you've learned through art-making? DON'T FORGET TO ADD PHOTOS
I would describe my artistic style as manipulated or off from the original subject. My artistic perspective is to try and create scale in a piece to show expression in my artwork. I would define success as achieving a level of skill that allows me to create/express anything I wanted in most mediums. I believe the most important skill I draw on to create my art is my creativity. It is hard to create an expressive piece of art if you are copying other artwork, when I envision a piece I know it is original to me especially in more abstract pieces of art. One of the more significant things I have learned through art-making is patients, good artwork does not come with haste. The more impatient I get with my artwork the worse it turns out.
